Ghana's sensational Hiplife artistes, Slim Busterr and Rasty Kenya, on Saturday, March 5, demonstrated their creativity and dancing skills at a musical bash held at the JD Local (Formerly Update) located at Dansoman, Sahara, to mark Ghana's 54th Independence Day celebration.
The musical bash was also to officially open the newly established JD Local which started operations on February 14.
The event, which attracted hundreds of music fans as well as people from all walks of life, treated fans to non-stop live performances from Slim Busterr, Rasty Kenya, Octopus Band, Myaes and Bonchaka.
Indeed, the music icons virtually sent the enthusiastic crowd into frenzy when they took the stage in turns and treated fans to unforgettable performances.
The show kicked off with Rasty Kenya, who performed his heart out to the expectant crowd. Kenya dazzled the crowd with his vocal ability. He was at his best and was able to thrill the crowd to their satisfaction.
His electrifying performance paved the way for Myaes to take over. The nearly thirty minutes' performance by the gospel star kept fans dancing.
Slim, who also mounted the stage and thrilled music fans to their satisfaction, won the hearts of fans with his stagecraft, singing ability and dancing skills.
The crowd admired Slim's performance and others who were over-excited and filled with the good rhythms of his songs were seen dancing.
A section of music fans became photographers, taking pictures of Slim performing on stage, with their mobile phones.
All those who made it to the show will have many fond memories of the show.
