|The foundation of Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is joining forces with Emmanuel Adebayor to host the second ‘reloaded’ edition of the Star Soccer Fiesta.
This was revealed during a press conference on Wednesday by organizers Gold Star Consult to launch the annual event which is climaxed with a fun game between professional football players and members of the entertainment industry is making a return after a two-year break.
This year’s edition which will be held in Kumasi is aimed towards improving sanitation in Ghana.
The main event will be heralded with an exciting road show from Accra to Kumasi with stops at vantage points to enable the stars interact with their fans.
Donations will also be made by the joint foundations of Asamoah Gyan and Emmanuel Adebayor before the main event which is a fun football match between professional players mainly drawn from the Black Stars team and leading entertainers in Ghana on June 21.
Speaking at the press briefing in Kumasi on Wednesday to launch the event, Chief Executive Officer of Gold Star Consult, organizers of the event said: “We plan to make this year’s event even much bigger than we had previously”.
“There is the motor show for the stars and then we will be making donations when the team arrives in Kumasi.
“This year’s event is themed on sanitation so the stars will also be involved a cleanup exercise ahead of the main event.”
Also present at the press event was D Black, Tinny, DJ Breezy and popular Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu who have all pledged support for this year’s event.
