Songstress Yaa Yaa confirms dating Fritz

Ghanaian female singer Yaa Yaa has named singer, Fritz as her ex-boyfriend. The “Incredible” singer on Friday morning in an interview with MzGee on Hitz FM in Accra revealed that she started dating Fritz at age 19 but never slept with him.

According to her, Fritz known for “Medo Wo” hit song which features Guru helped in keeping her virginity for the years they were together. The singer who is now 25 years denied that not being able to sleep with her former boyfriend resulted their breakup. Yaa Yaa disclosed that they both agreed to go their separate ways.

“He did not make any attempt to sleep with me. The course that we were both offering in school were not giving us the chance to spend much time together. Most of the times that we spent together were just a few hours. And anytime we were spending time together there were other friends around, so it never gave us that space to think something else.

We both decided to walk away. The breakup was not the usual “I don’t want you anymore”. Well it’s through his actions but we both decided we don’t want the relationship anymore because our paths that we had chosen were different.” On whether she wants him back, Yaa Yaa answered “No” because she is now focusing on her career as a musician.

“No, we’ve moved on. All my concern is on my music career.”
