Officials at the Asikuma SSNIT has allegedly arrested a 60 year old man, Martin Appiah, who is suspected to be a ghost.
According to the Asikuma SSNIT manager, Madam Janet Oduro, Mr. Appiah went to their office in 2003 to claim his benefit where he brought a letter from Goldfield to indicate that he had lost a purported relative. Without hesitation, SSNIT paid off all his benefits due him.

Today, the same Mr. Appiah went to the said SSNIT office to claim another benefit and SSNIT, without a second thought, alerted the police.
He is now in custody assisting the Asikuma police in their investigations.
