A lot of people complain about the difficulties back home in their country of birth and as a result strive so hard to make it in life elsewhere.
Most youths have the mindset that their progress lies somewhere else outside the jurisdiction of their place of birth. Their next target then is to travel outside the shores of their home country to seek greener pastures abroad.
Many people believe that one can strive hard enough to become successful in their home country whilst others believe that the promised Heaven is in the lands of the developed countries.
One renowned female artiste of both local and international repute has added her voice to this issue.
Noella Wiyaala (known under the stage name Wiyaala) who was born on December 22, 1986 and a Ghanaian Afro pop singer-songwriter who sings in her native language Sissala and Waala dialects and English has also had her opinion. During a live performance overseas, she advised the youths to stay focused back home on the African continent and forget travelling outside to seek greener pastures.
Do you agree with Wiyaala ?
