Global Telecommunications giants, Huawei Ghana have released an official statement disowning Comedian Teacher Kwadwo whose real name is Michael Owusu Afriyie.

We reported days ago that Huawei had terminated the contract of Teacher Kwadwo over some comments he made on Facebook some years ago which perpetuate rape culture.

A feminist group known as Pepper Dem Ministries reported the incident to Huawei and also his employer, Ghana Education Service demanding his sack.

However, in a statement released by Huawei Ghana on Monday 17th December 2018, the global telecommunication giant dissociated itself from the news that Teacher Kwadwo is their brand ambassador in Ghana and that they have terminated any form of business relationship they had with him.
