The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints to refund 3 years tithings to members

Senior blogger, Enoku just reported the best news ever to all and sundry on Facebook.

It has to do with how The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints has resorted to aid their congregants in this economically unfriendly period.

He wrote:

Whiles some churches are chasing members for tithes online during COVID-19 pandemic, The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints will refund up to 3 years of tithing to members who have contributed in the past!

This is to cushion members as they battle with COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown that has caused people their jobs.

This is highly commendable!

This was the same reason why gospel musician, Joseph Mensah, in an interview with DJ Sly K of Max FM advised Ghanaianas to check or assess their churches after this COVID-19 situation as to whether the church helped them or still took from them in this harsh case.
