I don't like to do what everybody does. I think it's always important to be different; so I have tried over the years to develop my style.”

Adding, “the most important thing for me has been comfortable. I try to get away from the trendy stuff. I think it's important to be consistent and different. It's not about looking better than somebody; it's about trying to look good for yourself.”

Nana Bediatuo told the Men Issue of GLITZ Africa magazine, “If you get dressed and you look yourself in the mirror and say to yourself, ‘oh they're going to love this', then you have the wrong attitude. But if you say, ‘oh I like this'—to yourself—then you're happy; because you can move in it.”

He further stated, “For me, good dressing is always about feeling good. I know people who have only two jackets but when you see them, you go like ‘wow, this guy has got style.' Style is not about trends; it's about individualism, it's about self-expression.”

“It's not just about the clothes; it's about what the folks call swag. It's what the Jewish people call chutzpah, the confidence. It's important that you don't wear your confidence on your sleeve though. It should be effortless. When you wear clothes, it should feel like your second skin,” he said.
