The Perfect Love From The Shakespearean Point Of View
Students of literature will appreciate how William Shakespeare positioned most of his poetic acts and one of such is about the two lovers faking their affection for each other just to keep their “imagined” love going.
I chose to take a look at this artistry piece from the poetic god whose major writings were made enticing in the 16th Century and continue to appear so even till date. From Shakespeare's point of view per the said poem, the best way to sustain a never dying relationship is to saturate it with pretense of the highest level ever.
With this ‘lover poem', the women put in the best move ever to appear innocent, angelic and pure whilst the older man strives to look younger than his actual age. Surprisingly, going through all the 14 lined poem will make you aware that they both knew whatever they were telling each other was false! But, as though they had decided to ‘manage' each other, they played along for their own sake!
One thing we learn from these struggling lovers is how they've decided to work relentlessly towards a common relationship which may not hold in future. Perhaps, for the time being, they're just interested in making themselves available to each other. Who can fault a loner who has purposed in his or her heart to grab for him or herself a lover? The joy of laying a hand on someone and calling him or her your home is that fulfilling moment.
It is prudent to make a firm decision as to how you go about entertaining the new lover and how to keep the affection going forward.
