The Shameful Ghanaian Politics Of Insults & Victimizations


How many people have realized that political parties exist to capture political powers in order to rule over the country with their designated policies? If this understanding is made clear, Ghanaians will appreciate the fact that insulting either John Mahama or Akufo-Addo isn’t what politics is all about.

Reading through comment sections on social media, one will get goosebumps because of the verbal attacks on the persons of both the leadership of NPP/NDC.

The trolls, victimization and heavy criticisms donned out to these leaders by their respective followers against each other is just unbearable. Instead of having an intellectual intercourse with each other, the youths have resorted to only insults.

This act is gradually becoming a normalized shame because both NPP and NDC seem to benefit from it if it isn’t directly launched against them.

Discussions should be based on facts and not insinuations and subsequent subtile jabs from both parties.

The politics of insults is quite shameful and must be relegated to the background as soon as possible.
