The Time For Female President Is Now – John Dramani Mahama

The former President and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, John Dramni Mahama (JDM) has descended heavily on critics who think his running mate choice is not in the right direction because of her gender.

Speaking at the inauguration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Campaign Team for Election 2020, JDM reiterated that the time for Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang and other females to take higher political offices is now and not later.

“We have shown that we are willing to let women take their place and be part of decision-making at the highest level. For those who have said the time is not right, the question is when will it be right to let women take the highest office of the land? The time is now!”
