There is no unity among Ghanaian female artists — Ak songstress

There are rumours circulating around Gh music industry, saying its very difficult to arrange for a collaboration from Gh female artist and there is disunity among them.
Paradise Entertainment artist AKOSUA KWAKYE known in showbiz as AK SONGSTRESS last Saturday 19 January 2019 on Amanie 93.3 fm E-MIX show hosted by ORIGINAL SETH NANA POKU (SNP) & KELVIN KOFI DANSO (2KD) confirmed the rumour.

AK who was asked why she has no collaboration with any female top artist in Ghana, and she boldly open up that her team has contacted some of the female artist but they have turn down the request due to their own reasons but refuses to name any artist.
” Me and my team has contacted some female artist for collaborations but they have turn down all the proposal by giving out excuses like, am busy doing something else, will get back to you and whole lot. Am not mentioning any names because if I do they will come out to denied of rejecting my request and I hope one day they will change their minds and link up for the collaborations”.
AK also made it clear that there is no unity among Ghana female artist that is of reason why we can’t compete with the male art’s.
” Doing the lost of our beloved Ebony, there was a tribute song tagged tribute by Gh Female artist, my question is am I not a female or am I not a member of Musigha? If am a member why was I not linked up for the tribute song?”
