The information reaching Ghanashowbiz.Com’s news desk has it that the government is considering another partial lockdown with new measures to subdue the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic as the country’s deaths keep surging and cases keep escalating, the Minister for Information and Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has opined.
The Information Minister revealed this new development in a press conference when he was speaking on calls for localized COVID-19 cases which has increased to 19,388 as of Saturday; July 4, 2020.
“In terms of the possibility of the reintroduction of restrictions, we have always said that all cards remain on the table,” Kojo Oppong Nkrumah hinted.
The Information Minister added:
“As the analysis goes on, how we have complied with this bit of the easing will inform the next line of action. A re-imposition of restrictions in some areas or further easing will be determined by the outcomes as we observe them moving forward”.
