The political season is heated now more than ever. With less than 85 days to the December 7 general polls, both the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the main opposition – National Democratic Congress (NDC) are sweating intensely to gain the attention, trust and thumbs of Ghanaians. The convener for The People’s Project (TPP), Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng aka Kwame A-Plus has cautioned the Ghana Police Service in his new posts over their refusal to allow some Ghanaians to embark on a planned demonstration.
Reacting to how painful the issue sounds to him, A Plus argued that since some other Ghanaians were allowed to demonstrate in Akyem over former President John Mahama’s alleged tribal comment in relation to Hon. Isaac Adongo’s “Akyem Sakawa Boys”, the police should as well allow the new demonstrators on Agyapa Deal to do so.
