This Is Why Hon. Kennedy Agyapong Was Summoned For Contempt Of Court

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Honourable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has been summoned to appear before the court for calling a judge ‘stupid’ on live television at Net2TV GH.

During a panel discussion on the said television show dubbed “The Seat” with Justice Kwaku Annan, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong angrily threatened a high court judge, Justice Amos Wuntah Wuni for passing a judgement without his knowledge.

The controversial MP for Assin Central called the judge “stupid” for delivering judgement when he was unaware of the case despite being the de jure owner of the land for 18 years.

In his words, he said:

“You are a stupid judge. I will face you. I am not Anas to take bribe from you,” he added in local language Twi. I will deal with you”.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart is to appear before the court on Monday, September 14 at 10:00am.
