Troublesome And Confused Wendy Shay Is Probably Short Of Talent And Needs Controversy For Relevance
Staying relevant in the ghana's Musical scenes is one herculean task that is not for the fainthearted at all. There are so many things that play a role in making sure that one is recognized, accepted and duly maintained in this entertainment arena of ours. What other big artistes like Cardi B and Rihanna may do for a normal hype or applauds may take a Ghanaian celebrity into the abyss!
RuffTown signee, Wendy Shay has been in the news for so many years now after she replaced Ebony Reigns. She has tried all she could to replace our very own ‘Ohemaa' but the truth of the matter is that she is not even a quarter close to whatever Ebony achieved and she probably won't till she is also no more. This isn't to pose as harsh as possible but it is just a clear fact which also doubles as an open secret!
Recall that Wendy Shay recently called the bluff of her followers after she unfollwed all of them on Twitter. Her claim was that Beyoncé is followed by over 200M fans and she follows none so if she (Wendy) also does same then we should clap for her. No wonder she has been blasted for so long by the netizens who decided that her decision is below the belt and uncalled for at the same time.
As usual, some celebrities are divided as to whether she is on the right path or otherwise. For my unsolicited candid opinion, she owns the Twitter account and she can do whatever she wants with it. But, one thing she should be ready for is to lose enough followers on other platforms like Facebook, Instagram and so forth.
Recall that Kuami Eugene had the same issue when he had to come online crying all over the place! Technically, all that should be done must be made available in the tenets of social media issues.
Is Wendy Shay also becoming pompous like other celebs who have lost their relevance by bullying their way through the social space?
What do you make of this?
