TV Africa Celebrates 10 Years of “Projecting African Values”

From the wisdom of one man Mr Kwaw Ansah, TV Africa has become one of the leading and authentic audio visual sources of African entertainment.

Over the past 10 years, the company has worked tirelessly, producing and transmitting several in-house programs which cut across various ages and cultures also news in five different local languages to reach out to the indigenous Ghanaian whiles reflecting the positive values of African life.

TV Africa has made waves over the past years due to its commitment to culture, ultra modern studio and production facilities. It has extended its coverage from Accra to Ashanti, Eastern Western, Central, Volta, Brong-ahafo, Northern Regions.

Eventhough there has been challenges, Tv Africa has been able to stand the test of time and even won some laurels including the ZAFAA award in 2011 acknowledging Tv Africa as the best station kind in Africa to project true African aesthetics.

Another notable award received was for the programme Obaa Mbo which celebrates African women of excellence. Like the African proverb which says that, until a lion finds a story teller, the hunter will always have the best story.

The story of Africa has been told mainly by Europeans over the period perhaps in Kwaw Ansah and his outfit TV Africa, the African lion found a story teller. Tv Africa promises to tell the untold story about Africa and it is the responsibility of every African to make Africa better because Africa deserves better.
