Two COVID-19 Patients Are On Ventilators – Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah
Two (2) Ghana’s COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in various isolation centres are currently being supported with ventilators, Information Minister cum MP for Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has revealed.
Speaking on Joy News on yesterday, the Minister said the two are critically ill, hence the need to put them on the machines to provide breathable air in and out of their lungs for stability.
“My understanding is that those who are critically ill are those who are requiring oxygens and ventilators. You recall in the case of Boris Johnson, for example, he required oxygen and not on a ventilator but my understanding is that there are two people who are critically ill are using ventilators,” he said.
