U.S. Defence Lawyers Dump Hushpuppi

The international lawyers representing Ramon Abbas popularly known as, Hushpuppi, in his trial for fraud and money laundering in the United States, have applied to withdraw from his case.

According to the US Lawyers, Gal Pissetzky and Vicki Podberesky, Mr. Abass has stopped communicating with them and has now retained new lawyers to defend him in the case.

Hushpuppi’s lawyers announced their withdrawal from the case after several months of negotiations with the US.

Recall, the Nigerian known for flaunting his opulent lifestyle on social media, was arrested in Dubai by special operatives, including Emerati police officers and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) operatives.

According to reports, Mr. Pissetzky and Ms. Podberesky have filed a motion at the United States District Court in California to withdraw from representing Mr. Abass.
