News reaching our end indicates that a 22-year-old final year Accounting student of Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Abba Ahmed, was prevented from taking his life by the Kano State Police command over his inability to marry the love of his life – Hanan Buhari, daughter of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria – Muhammadu Buhari.

Abba Ahmed, on Facebook and Instagram, had earlier vowed to commit suicide if he’s unable to marry the President’s daughter.

According to Nigerian Tribune, the Force Public Relations Officer, Mr Frank Mba, who got wind of the suicidal post which has now been deleted, signalled Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr Habu Sani, for the immediate invitation and counselling of Abba who stays at Kano.
