VEEP BAWUMIA VISITS THE NATIONAL CHIEF IMAM FOR POLITICAL LUCK

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam.

The veep wrote;

“Today, I was joined by Mr. Freddie Blay, National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Hon.Patrick Boamah, the Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central Constituency for a special visit to my father, His Eminence the National Chief Imam, Dr. Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu.
The purpose of the visit was to officially inform His Eminence about my re-nomination as running mate to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
for the 2020 presidential election.
I thanked the National Chief Imam for his continuous coaching, advice and guidance throughout my political life and other diverse ways and asked for his continuous prayers and blessings.
I remain committed to the agenda and aspirations of the Ghanaian people for decent and peaceful campaigning in the run-up to, during and after the elections.”
