Venita Reacts To The Wedding Of A Young Girl And An Old

Actress cum reality tv star, Venita Akpofure has expressed her displeasure in the marriage between a 16 year old girl and an 83 year old man, who is old enough to be her grandfather.

Venita has joined the list of celebrities to react to this act, since images of their wedding souvenir hit social media.

According to the reality Tv star, society decides to leave pressing issues for meager ones. She stated that she wonders why such an act has not been condemned like how her colleague Rahama Sadau was publicly ridiculed when she wore a dress that exposed her back.

Recall, Raham was dragged on social media by the Arewaa youth for wearing a dress that revealed her back. She was condemned for wearing the dress, saying it is against Islamic rules and regulations.

The group has however refused to raise their voices after the photo of the child and her husband hit social media.

Venita wonders why the marriage has not sparked an outrage, and still demands an answer to her questions from social media users.

She wrote;
