(VIDEO): A young man blasts armed military men for wasting his time
Following the Lockdown of the major cities in Ghana as part of the measures to contain and prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus, many citizens have had clashes with the security personnel ensuring compliance of the order.
There have been reported cases of abuse from both sides. There have been some videos surfacing on social media in which some civilians are seen beating up military men and police and in some too the military and police are seen molesting the civilians.
In a viral video sighted by GHANASHOWBIZ.COM, a young man is seen teaching some unidentified security personnel constitutional and human rights law.
According to the video, the man was arrested and prevented from continuing his journey at 1 Am midnight by the security personnel because the thought his movement was gross negligence and violation of the president’s imposition of the restricted movements.
The young man told the men that any attempt to prevent his movement is a violation of his fundamental human rights.
“You can’t tell me I shouldn’t go home irrespective of the time of the day. I will be in danger of sitting outside. The president didn’t say that.
I am not traveling and even if I am traveling I have the right to do so” he fumed.
