(Video): Teachers must be ready to lose 50% of their salary if they want to stay home – Prof. Adei

Professor Emeritus of the Ashesi University, Stephen Adei who is a renowned educationist, writer, economist and motivational speaker has posited that teachers must be ready to lose 50% of their salaries if they want to continue staying at home as opposed to the government’s initiative of school reopening soon.

He made this comment while speaking on Joy News’ “Upfront” with Winston Amoah, the controversial man said:

“Aside from the teachers writing a letter to protest the imminent reopening of schools, they should have made some positive contributions on how to protect teachers and students and a reduction in their salaries”.

This comment has set the internet ablaze with various factions explaining their varied stance.
