(Video): The supreme Court Judges were wrong, my interpretation was the correct one – Gen. Mosquito

The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Asiedu Nketiah who is known in the political space as General Mosquito has defended his earlier misleading interpretation of a supreme Court ruling.

In the case of  NDC VRS EC &AG, the supreme Court held that the old voter’s ID card can not be used as a primary document for identification. Contrary to the meaning of the ruling, Asiedu Nketiah said the court had ruled in their favour that people can use the old voter’s ID card as a means of identification.

The interpretation threw his supporters into jubilant mood for some minutes until the written ruling came out.

General Mosquito has said on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen that he had his interpretation of the ruling correct. He said his lawyers agreed with the his interpretation and the judges were all wrong.
