Vote buying saga: Bibi Bright accuses NDC of buying votes with ‘Maggi cube’

The political atmosphere is heating up in Ghana with barely a few months to the general elections and accusations of vote buying has been labelled against some political parties on the country. A prominent celebrity to add her voice to this is Bibi Bright who has accused the ruling national democratic congress ( NDC ) of buying votes with Maggi cubes and some pieces of cloth in the Upper West region.

The Actress made this revelation when she moved to the region to lauch a compassion for change campaign to help win votes for the new patriotic party ( NPP) in the upcoming general elections. She claimed the NDC is distributing Maggi cubes worth GHC 2 and GHC 5 and some pieces of cloth to people for them to vote for them.

The NDC is yet to react to this accusation.
