Wahala : UCC Student Arrested For Allegedly Kidnapping SHS Girl For 5 Solid Days

A serious problem has located a 22-year-old level 300 student at the University of Cape Coast. Simeon Cephas Andoh Dadzie has been arrested by the police force in Sekondi for allegedly kidnapping an 18-year-old Senior High School learner.

As broadcasted by 3news.com, the young girl from Methodist Senior High School in Sekondi whose name has been withheld was lured to the suspect’s hostel through Facebook.

The actual reason that Cephas lured the said girl into his place of abode was not stated and it has also not been mentioned whether he demanded any ransom before the kidnapee’s release otherwise.

The available report indicates that a group of angry youth upon tip-off read through the Facebook messages between the two individuals and juxtaposed that the said girl might be with the suspect. They visited the Cape Coast University and the specific hostel of the suspect.

Per the account, after meeting Cephas, the group indicated that he claimed he had no knowledge whatsoever of the said girl or her whereabouts. The angry group went ahead to conduct a subsequent search and found the girl in the suspect’s washroom.

After the mission was accomplished, the victim had reportedly become very weak and is currently receiving treatment. The suspect is now in the custody of the Sekondi police to assist in the investigation ahead of the case at hand.
