Mubarak Wakaso could see his house at East Legon demolished

Spain based Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso could see his house at East Legon demolished as part of a looming demolition exercise around the Mempeasem area due to a protracted land dispute in the vicinity.

The Deportivo Alaves anchor man will likely join a host of occupants around the area suffer the mass demolition exercise pending legal adjudication.

Based in the nation’s capital and noted for its beautiful edifices, East Legon remains one of Ghana’s most beautiful vicinity thanks to the professional footballers and some top-ranking officials.

A suburb of East Legon, known as Mempeasem, is however in the news for the wrong headlines as the true owner of the land keep swinging like a pendulum.

Mr. Samuel Larbi Darko, believed to be the true owner of the land, is threatening mass demolishing around the area if residents and occupants do not meet him in the nearest possible time for proper documentations.

With concrete documents backing his claim, Mr. Samuel Darko chronicled the ownership of the land in the late 70s to date.

The confident Darko cited the era when the land was released for the construction of the Accra Training College in 1974 before its subsequent return due to compensation discrepancies.

The aggrieved land owner called on residents around the area not to comprise their hard earned money on unscrupulous fraudsters as an epic legal tussle takes shape.

Mubarak Wakaso is one of several star players who could suffer in the event of the demolition exercise taking centre stage.
