War on Iraq is a mistake – Tony Bair
Tony Blair the British prime ministers has finally admitted Iraqi war was a mistake although he has no regrets for ousting Saddam Hussein. He apologized in an interview with Fareed Zakaria (CNN) on Sunday October 25, 10a.m. ET. The initial calls by protesters in 2003 against the war were not adhere to; a clear indication these “world leaders” are untouchable.
“I can say I apologize for the fact that the intelligence we received was wrong because, even though he he used chemical weapon extensively against his own people, against others, the program in the form That we thought it was did not exist in the way that we thought,” Blair said.
The U. S. and British action on Iraq was based on a false U.S. intelligence report that Saddam’s regime possessed weapons of mass destruction. It will be interesting to know what measures African leaders have in place should there be a situation of “false intelligence report” by the world leaders against any of the African countries.
