Was Samini Really Serious About Signing Kelvynbwoy Before Stonebwoy Did?

A few days ago, Samini Dagaati, revealed that he had intentions of signing the fast-rising Dancehall/ Afrobeat act Kelvynboy before By His Imperial Majesty (BHIM) boss, Stonebwoy did.

During the said interactive moment, entertainment pundit, Akwasi Boateng had opined that if Samini is going to put his energy into an artiste and sign him, then it should be the same artiste whom he discovered and endorsed at the 2018 VGMA awards, which is one Deon Boakye.

He added in the interview with NYDJ on the Ryse N Shyne that instead of going for someone who was once in another camp and now moving him into his (Samini) camp, he could get another artiste he likes enough to endorse on a huge public platform. This, he said, is going to put more money into his brand. So, according to him, such investment can be put into the career of Deon”.

Pundit Akwasi commented that Stonebwoy sounded like an emotional person and he is quite open with his reactions hence if Samini takes his ex-signee onto his label, Stonebwoy will not hide how he feels about it.

He opined;

“Stonebwoy is emotional. At first, it was just an opinion but right now, I know Stonebwoy is emotional. Everyone is emotional but his emotions take over him and when Stonebwoy is not pleased, he shows it”.

Most observers have raised concerns about why Samini cannot get his eyes off Kelvynbwoy who is no more Stonebwoy’s. Could this be a way of getting back at Stonebwoy from Samini’s camp?
