WE ARE NOT GOING TO PAY A DIME TO CELEBRITIES -KOJO OPPONG NKRUMAH
The Minister for Information and Member of Parliament for the Ofoase Ayerebi constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah today in his address to the media on the updates coronavirus in Ghana clarified an earlier statement he made.

During the question segment of the press conference monitored by Ghanashowbiz.com, the Minister was asked how much is Government going to pay celebrities who would be employed as coronavirus ambassadors in Ghana.
Answering the question, Mr. Oppong Nkrumah said they are not going to employ ambassadors and pay them for the job.
“Government doesn’t intend to pay any celebrity to go out there to become ambassadors for COVID-19. I mentioned in our meeting with the GJA, NMC etc. that we were also thinking of having persons with large following share our messages,” he told the media.
