Western Togoland secessionist block access to Volta Region

A group of secessionists identified as Homeland Study Foundation who have declared the Volta Region as an independent country have blocked all entry into the region.

They are pushing for an agenda to have the Volta Region, Oti Region,North East Region and some part of the Upper East Region of Ghana to form an independent country called Western Togoland.

The Ghana Armed Forces has arrested them on secret occasions since they started their operations.

They allegedly mounted a sign board welcoming people into their country a month ago and it’s following this action.
