When Is Michael Osei Berko Going On His Nak3d Protest Against Foreign Content On Our TV Screens?
Many have attributed the crippling movie industry to the enormous foreign content on our TV screens on daily basis. Recall that Madam Irene Opare and other renowned movie stars had openly described their dissatisfaction towards the showing of more foreign content than our local ones.
Most worried celebrities have previously registered their displeasure on the dominance of telenovelas and other foreign materials as the main factor subduing the progress of Ghana’s movie industry – Kumawood and the rest.
Well, the last star to add his voice to the aforementioned issue was Michael Osei Berko. During his interview then, he decried the rationale behind most TV stations’ preference of foreign films to local ones and threatened to embark on a very weird demonstration if the authorities in charge sit aloof.
He further threatened to march “naked” to the Jubilee House if nothing is done about the foreign contents on our television screens by the end of the year (2019).
This article is just a reminder that we have less than 18 days to say bye-bye to 2020 and Michael Osei Berko has not demonstrated naked yet as he had bragged.
