Where is Mr. Kamboo @ King Promise ?
It’s gradually becoming a usual trend for some Ghanaian entertainers to vamoose into the thin air after recording a few hit songs for our pleasure.
One cannot easily tell why it is so but “it’s what it’s”. Notable amongst such musicians who have gone silent after entertaining Ghanaians for a while include Nana Boroo, Daddie Opanka, Kwesi Arthur, E.L, D-Black, Trigmatic, Iwan, and others.

Gregory Bortey Newman whose stage name is King Promise came into the music scene not long ago to woo us with his sexy vibes. He nearly took all our girlfriends at one point because his identity and tracks become a household name.
At the moment, all our red-letter days with this sexy musician has gone down the drain as a result of his absence from the music scene for almost a year or so now.
Famously known for his huge boots (Kamboo) on every stage he performed, his antics on the microphone was quite amusing.
His foot wears were always incongruous with his attires on stage. Fans usually trolled him for such oversized boots on him. All of a sudden, King Kamboo Promise is nowhere to be found with his sexy voice like that of Kwabena Kwabena.
