Who Actually Swept The Youths Off Their Feet – Shatta Wale Or Stonebwoy?

There is no more debate that Dancehall in Ghana revolves around Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr aka Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy now and may remain so for the next decade(s). Many hold the notion this may continue to be so till the next decade. These champs who started from the ghetto gutters and struggled their own way up there have really impacted the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian youths.

Their respective brands have cushioned each other and carved a significant niche for themselves in the GH Dancehall universe and so shall it remain till there are some other gems.

The simplest question moving around is who amongst these champs really did marvelously well in the lives of their fan bases. In terms of how their music motivated the youth, their contributions towards the welfare of the youths and so and so forth.

This is a debate that could go on for centuries even after their deaths and what baffled many was when the much hyped Asaase Radio Sound Clash failed to settle this once and for all.
