Nancy ‘Gabriel’ Gordon is now bent on making her mark in the music industry. Gabriel who is also a fashion model, English Teacher and make-up artist was Born and raised in the parish of St. Ann, Jamaica. Gabriel grew up in a small community called Cascade. She attended the Christiana High School in Manchester after which she migrated to Kingston to further her education and to take on music.

Gabriel completed several years of formal education and have so far earned a :
· Diploma in Education
· Degree in English,
· Masters of Science in Social Work and Women Studies,and is
· Presently writing her P.H.D in Organizational Management at a University in the United States.
Gabriel published her first book at the age of 19 called“My Thoughts”
She is also the founder of the dynamic modeling agency Gabriel International
Gabriel told us that she intends to continue to reach for her educational goals, as she believes it is more than necessary to be qualified in today’s society.
“I always put my education first in everything I do. I always place greater emphasis on my education no matter what.”
The female artist who burst big on the music scene recently after doing hit remake My Boy Lollipop callab with Bounty Killer says that she is still studying part time, as her goal is to complete her P.H.D.
My aim for the next few years is to have the word Doctor before my name. So soon I will be called Dr. Nancy “Gabriel” Gordon”. It’s taking some time as I am focusing on my music a lot but I will get there by God’s help,” she said. Gabriel reveals that it’s very hard to stay focus as an artist while taking on other tasks.

Ans: I walked for Eastwick, Dazikie, Cheeks, Strange Vixens and several others.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD?
Ans: “I love soup and I love seafood. I am also a lover of grapes and my favourite of all is plain rice and sardines .I am very simple with my eating style but I really do not eat much. I eat often but not plenty.”
Ans: I just love to model and I read widely.
WHO IS YOUR MUSICAL ICON?
Ans: “I grew up listening to Celine Dion, and several Gospel and country music. I love Kenny Rogers and Michael Bolton”
Ans: “I love Manhattan…everyone just moves so fast in Manhattan and they always seem to be on the go. It just reminds me that there is little time and there is so much to do, so we should get going.
My boy lollipop is one of the most controversial songs to ever be released in Jamaica as detractors claim that the song is contrary to Bounty Killer’s gangster image. The song has drawn the attention of fans and listeners all over the world who are not hesitant to express their sentiments about the artists and the song on Youtube and other social media and entertainment websites.
Gabriel is presently creating a dynamic ‘Buzz’ on the music scenes both locally and abroad. She told us that she is working on several new tracks with some of the biggest producers in Jamaica right now and will be releasing a few as early as the coming month.
However she refused to comment on recent dating rumours about herself and Bounty Killer. “I don’t want to focus on that rite now, I just want to prepare my mind for what is ahead. Bounty killer and I are busy making music and we are not going to listen to what people have to say. “
