Why Has Defeated John Dumelo Ignored The Fact That His Colleagues Campaigned Against Him In AWW?

The Ayawaso West Wuogon (AWW) as an elite constituency out of the 275 constituencies has caught the attention of many Ghanaians. The main contenders: actor John Dumelo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the incumbent Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have trended for so many months now. Admittedly, the tertiary institutions in the constituency have had students benefit immensely from both candidates.

Both candidates have had to share various stuff for votes — laptops, hand sanitizers, and so on and so forth. One trending issue that has become worthy of discussion now is the way and manner some colleagues of John Dumelo such as Kalybos, Prince David Osei, Bismark the Joke, and others stormed AWW to campaign for their colleague’s opponent.

Even though this has generated a lot of controversies, John Dumelo has never uttered a word. Whilst netizens are fighting for John Dumelo, he is out of coverage area and has decided not to say anything.

People are arguing that, if anything at all, John Dumelo’s colleagues could have chosen another NPP candidate in a different constituency to campaign for.
