It’s just becoming too much with the kind of lyrics some musicians choose for their tracks in this country. With the current beefs, celebrities such as Sista Afia, Sister Derby, Strongman Burner, Medikal, Eno Barony and Freda Rhymz have all sat down to compose lyrics that may be normal for others and also a ‘no-no’ for others.
Even though I do not like Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo personally, it pissed me off when Samuel Adu Frimpong aka Medikal of Arab Money Gang (AMG) Business Fame released his “Nonsense” track with Akuapem Poloo’s name all over the lyrical content.
How in the name of God did Akuapem Poloo’s name make his lyrics list? Netizens were waiting for Medikal to reply Eno Barony’s “Argument Done” some weeks ago but he swerved all of us and descended heavily on Comedy King – DKB, and Akuapem Poloo.
After carefully listening to “Nonsense” for the 10th time this week, I’ve realized that Medikal called Akuapem Poloo a prostitute in plain language — and with no basis.
Just watch Medikal’s “Nonsense” track below and judge for yourself.
To me, the rate at which musicians enter into studio boots and just make wild allegations or throw tantrums at others all in the name of music is becoming too rampant. To make the claim that all persons in Accra have “used” Akuapem Poloo is quite malicious, childish, and unjustified gibberish capable of harming the lady’s persona.
With so many brands under the label of celebrities, they ought to be extra careful with their utterances and accusations. I don’t understand why Akuapem Poloo hasn’t been advised to sue Medikal.
Akuapem Poloo dragging Medikal before the law court would serve as deterrence to other musicians to check the words they use on others in their tracks.
