“Why I can never be a Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy” – Omah Lay (Video)

Fast-rising Nigerian music act, Stanley Omah Didia popularly known as Omah Lay, has categorically stated that he can never be another version of leading Nigerian singers, Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy.

The Damn crooner made this known in his recent chat with Nigerian reality star and TV personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on the Rubbin Minds show, a programme on Channels TV.

During the exclusive interview, Ebuka had asked the talented artist what he feels or thinks when people predict that he is likely to become the next Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy.

In response to his interviewer’s question, Omah Lay who has featured on DJ Tunez’ “Pami” alongside Adekunle Gold and Wizkid, said he does not aspire to become the next Starboy, OBO or Odogwu because he has chosen to be the original version of himself and not someone else.
