The BASS Awards 2017 took place
Thursday, December 28 2017, at the National Theatre in Accra, Ghana.

winners was of the various categories Awards was  announced .
The award scheme that celebrates excellence in reggae and dancehall musician in Ghana saw Ebony win the ultimate Kwame Nkrumah Awards (Artiste of the Year) . She also won the Female Vocalist of the Year .
BET Awards winner Stonebwoy also won four (4) — including the Best Dancehall Video of the Year, Album of the Year, Dancehall Song of the Year and Album of the Year. Other winners were Ras Kuuku, Rudebwoy Ranking, MzVee and more.
There were performances from MzVee, Epixode, Jahlead, Patoranking, as well as MTN Hitmaker contestant Xali Hali .
