Wizkid Credited For ‘Brown Skin Girl’ After An Update By The Grammy Recording Academy

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Wizkid, now has 2 Grammy nominations after a recent update by the Grammy Awards Recording Academy.

Wizkid received his ‘Brown Skin Girl’ collaboration credit as spotted in the updated Grammy Awards category list for 2020 ‘Best Music Video’.

The award winning superstar’s nomination was updated to two (2) on the Grammy Awards website after it was made open to the public.

Wizkid’s “Brown Skin Girl” has been credited accordingly by the Grammy recording academy, after the first nomination list of the 2020 Grammy Awards had not given him any credit for the ‘Brown Skin Girl’ collaboration with Beyoncé and Ivy Blu.

The correction was made on the 11th of December 2020 and therefore implies that Wizkid, alongside Beyonce and Ivy Blu, is nominated for 2020 ‘Best Music Video’ by the Grammy Awards.
