World Leadership Whipping Their Citizens To Cover Up For The Impact Of COVID-19

When we were young, most of us never understood why either our mum or dad had to shout at us or act weird towards us whenever both parties picked up a scuffle.

We often criticized them for unleashing their frustrations on us until we also became adults and realized the full meaning of the African proverb, “when elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers, which means the weak get hurt in conflicts between the powerful.

This is exactly what the citizens across the globe and specifically African countries are facing now. We are the grass suffering because two elephants (our governments and Coronavirus pandemic) are fighting.

Even though Lockdown has been proven as one of the most effective mechanisms to subdue the spread of the Coronavirus, the rates at which the unabiding citizenry are severely dealt with could just be said to be a bit worrisome!
