The actor jabbed Tonto Dikeh for her unpalatable tweets about an unnamed Nollywood actresses’ decision to go back to work two months after giving birth.
Tonto tweeted last week that: “Nollywood Bridez marry horribly**#SHEBA#”, and prayed that: “Wen n if I give birth, God plz provide mii wit a husband dat can provide 4uz,Not 1 dat wld send mii bck to actin 2monthz after I born 2Huzzle.”

Although Mercy Johnson did not formally react to the tweets, a posting by the actress seemed to make mockery of Tonto Dikeh’s attacks.
Mercy Johnson, who got married to her heartthrob Odianose Okojie on Saturday, August 27, 2011, tweeted last week that: “Good morning sweets, hope y’all good? Off to work.Mama Purity loves y’all loads.have a blessed day filled with love.”
Tonto Dikeh and Mercy Johnson
Nonso Diobi who was not amused by Tonto Dikeh’s attacks took to twitter Tuesday and said: “Shoutout to @realmercyj one of the ladies I respect so much….BE STRONG.”
According to the actor, “Respect is earned, I respect most of my colleagues not those that act like they are more perfect than others,” and that, “U don’t always have to trend in a negative way,u can’t disrespect your colleague and expect to be respected.”
The Palace Slave actor noted that: “Just because she went back to work 2months after her delivery doesn’t make u better than her, learn to respect people’s decision.”
To him, the most important thing is that, Mercy Johnson “has a happy home and a happy man,so u don’t spoil it with your negative words…wonder what beef u had with her in d 1st place.”
Nonso Diobi advised Tonto Dikeh to learn to be humble and stressed that “Just because u have it all doesn’t mean u won’t need help [tomorrow]…no man is an island.”
He observed that the entertainment industry is big enough to accommodate everyone and wondered why she will hate on a colleague especially when the business is not a competition.
The actor commended Mercy Johnson acted maturely when she did not reply Tonto Dikeh’s attacks stating the her silence “is called the MATURITY of a woman which is rare.”
