You are part of Ghana’s problems – A guy blasts Dr. Osei Kwame Despite over his son’s wedding.

After the flamboyant wedding of Kennedy Osei (the son of Dr. Osei Kwame Despite) and Tracy, social media commentators have been expressing their views about it.

Enraged Facebook user has taken on Dr. Kwame Despite for using his own money in a way he deems fit. The guy with the Facebook name, Atta Krufi  Ahensan has expressed his disappointment in Despite over what he calls “ unnecessary showoff.

“A Ghanaian millionaire wastes 3 million dollars on a wedding in an economy whose GDP in 60 Billion dollars…No sense in this” he wrote.  He also compared Africa rich men to the rich men in the Western world over how they spend their resources. He believes Africans only spend their money on funerals and weddings in the expense of investing in the community.

“African Rich persons must move away from unnecessarily show off and concentrate on positive impact on society..I can understand why the whites disrespects us and cannot understand why Looters loots our money and waste it in a country where more than 40 percent are in extreme poverty and more than 60 percent lacks basic needs….” he wrote.
