You can’t join the case because you are not neutral – Supreme Court throws IMANI’s case
Policy Think-Tank group, IMANI Ghana has had their case thrown away by the supreme court today. They sought to join the case between the Electoral Commission and the National Democratic Congress Congress pending verdict as Amicus.

Amicus applications are filed to join cases you are not party to but have something substantial to add. So IMANI tried to use this route to join and supply additional information to the court.
The Founder of the group, mr. franklin cudjoe announcing the dismissal of the case to his Facebook followers, he said “update: Supreme Court says, our amicus brief was filed so late. That we should have filed a new application and finally our amicus supports one party so we can't file it. We are disappointed but we hear. We will continue our advocacy. We shall publish the brief for all to read”
