Lead blogger at The1957News, a Ghanaian based social, Political and showbiz oriented blog, Nene Odompleh has said that for one to become a blogger, he or she need only two things i.e Passion and Good Subject-Verb Agreement and not necessarily a degree.
He made this revelation when he together with some Ghanaian bloggers including Zionfelix , Ameyaw Debrah and Anold Mensah were being profiled by some students from the Ghana Institute Of Journalism (GIJ) for educational purposes.
He said “the work of bloggers requires passion more than anything else because the job comes with so many sacrifices. I sometimes walk to events because I have to feed my followers with contents and because I love the work I do as a blogger, I must put in all the necessary dedications and sacrifices but with that not withstanding, the people for example event organizers who enjoy my services the most must also be up to their being paying me a substantial amount to at least help “love to do more” but that’s not case in Ghana. Most event organizers choose to either give us (bloggers) peanuts or refuse to pay us for work done but we continue working and keep doing all things possible to get ourselves going because we’ve passion” .
Speaking in the issue of Subject-Verb Agreement, Nene Odompleh stated that, one key element communication is presenting your write up to the good understandingly your readers and so with good power over your subject verb agreement, your readers will always want to have more from you.
He advised young people who wants to venture into blogging to grab their passion on and also work on their subject verb agreement which according to him are the basic elements of becoming a good personality in the blogosphere.
