No matter how indispensable we may appear to be to our partners, business associates, institutions, families and others, our absence may even go unnoticed. Don’t get me wrong — we need to feel all that important and feel wanted by those around us but the sad and clear truth is that our absence may not cause commotion as we envisage in our weirdest imaginations.
One of Ghana’s finest broadcast journalist who used to work at Multimedia and is now at Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN)’s Angel 102.9 FM – Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, has spoken at length with how we expire or leave a place and the way things seem normalized afterwards.
His post read;
***Once a while I try to squeeze time for myself and this is the reason.
Atta Mills is gone, Ghana is moving. Komla Dumor is gone, BBC is still operating. KABA is gone, Multimedia is working. Kofi Annan is gone, UN still operates, Dzifa Gbeho-Bampoh and Matilda Asante Asiedu left Multimedia and News nite and Mid day news still go on. I kofi Adoma left Multimedia and they are still doing their thing.
I can go on and on. The point is, don’t work your life out. You are not as important as you think. Calm down. Take time off work, do medical check-ups, visit your family, visit serene sites, sit with friends and have a good time together.
Appreciate nature. Do Exercise, Run, walk, sing, dance, go to church and genuinely serve God as well as pray without ceasing and study the Word of God. Live life. Be humble, be kind, happy yourself and don’t let the world stress you out. Have a blessed Friday night 🤣🤣***
