I am not just fighting for you – Prez Akufo Addo

The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo has for 6th time given address on the enhanced response to the fight against coronavirus.

He uses those addresses to update the nation on the number of cases, restrictive measures as well as stimulus packages the government is giving to Ghanaians.

In the 6th address, he said he is not just fighting for Ghanaians but he is fighting with Ghanaians. To mean that he would need the citizens’ cooperation to win the fight.

“Today is the sixth time I am coming into your homes since we began our collective effort to combat the Coronavirus pandemic and to implement measures aimed at containing and defeating it.

I have, first of all, to tell you how proud and privileged I am to be your President, not just to fight for you, but also to fight with you, and to help shepherd our country out of this crisis.” he said.
