Is Wanluv De Kubolor Using The LGBTQ+ Clout To Project A New Track?



Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu, known by his stage name Wanlov the Kubolor as a Ghanaian-Romanian musician, film director, and cultural icon born to an Akan father and a Romanian mother needs no introduction in the Ghanaian entertainment circles. I once chanced on a writeup that suggested “Kubolor” is a Ga word that essentially means truant but can be understood to be a wanderer or vagabond and that name just fits that dude 1000%!

Recall he is the first person to have showed his p3nis live on TV before Wisa Greid followed suit and he is noted for cooking controversies all the time! The bro of Deborah Vanessa is trouble himself and needs no other trouble wherever he steps.



Well, his recent stance on LGBTQ+ isn’t surprising to many since he had always dressed like a feminine and held certain cultural dynamism which is foreign to the Ghanaian setup. But the question begging for answers now is whether he is delving into this LGBTQ+ to promote his new track and he means every single word he has said about the issue.
