PERSEVERANCE, HARD WORK AND CONCENTRATION SHOULD BE OUR GUIDE – NKZ CEO.

The music industry is one of the most dominant economic pushers in every country. The stressful and frustrating nature of life call for relaxation(s) and entertainment sometimes just to reduce tension. Music is one of the avenues through which people become sober and reflect on life well.

A lot of artistes have therefore delved into several ways of making fans love their performances anytime they mount the platform.

Over the weekend, the CEO of NKZ Music Label, Maradona Yeboah Adjei who is popularly known as Guru had a chit chat with one of the host of a renowned TV3 programme. During the said interview, the interviewer sought to know how Guru is managing within the musical jungle. With this, he confidently responded that he has really come far when the issue of his music career is raised. He pointed out to the host that he comes from Nkoranza, which is a very far place in the newly carved Bono East and had nothing to do with Accra or Kumasi where all the big stars in the industry hail from.

He made it clear that only perseverance and extreme hardworking artistes can make it in Ghana’s music industry.

He touched on why he has gone cold all of a sudden and attributed it to the fact that he has channelled all his resources and fame towards the signing and rebranding of the famous Wutah. He explained that this single act has really drained him a lot since he was not entirely ready for that action but had to take it due to the need to bring people on board as a way of giving back to the society.

He later preached togetherness, peace and love to all the artistes in order to make them good role models to the upcoming ones and also, to propel Ghana’s music industry to an enviable height of global repute.

Guru is noted for hit tracks like Boys Abr3 with Lil Win, Kaseibo with Obrafour, Pooley and so on.
